Korda Longchuck Tapered Mainline 10-30lb 0.27mm-0.47mm

The Long Chuck Tapered Mainline is designed to cast long distances in situations where you want to fish without a bow. Think, for example, of waters with a lot of weed that can accumulate around the grace knot and cause problems during the fight.

The Long Chuck Tapered Mainline comes on a 300m spool with an 8m long section of 0.47mm (30lb) diameter line on both ends that takes the hit during hard casts - plus a 2m tapered section to the chosen diameter line.

The ends of the line are thus the same and give the possibility to rewind the line in the event of a breakage and turn it to another coil and so on.

This tapered mainline has the same features as the Long Chuck line. For example, the stretch percentage is ultra low to put more pressure on the rod during the cast (heavy nylon normally has more stretch and thus hinders casting); low water absorption; light weight for pulling power because the line is colorless (dye adds extra weight), keeping the line in the air longer and a high pull to diameter ratio to reduce drag.
