Korda Longchuck Clear 0.33mm 1000m

The new Long Chuck mainline has been specially developed for long range fishing and will add extra meters to your cast compared to normal nylon. It has an ultra low stretch percentage and will therefore help to put pressure on the rod during the cast. The line also takes up little water and will help to feel the lead from a distance or with crosswinds. Because the line absorbs little water, it also remains lightweight and therefore longer in the air during the cast. Resistance from braking the line will thus be minimized. The main difference, however, is in the fact that the line is clear.

Adding dye to a monofilament line makes it heavier and changes the structure and thus provides more stretch. As a result, colored lines can be cast less far. Long Chuck also has a high pull to diameter ratio. As a result, the resistance of the line will be many times less compared to another line just as strong.

 

The line comes on spools of 1000m.
