This rod is mainly aimed at fishermen who fish for large fish and who use a boat. The rod offers all the power you need, along with advantages that a shorter rod offers for this fishing. Christopher Paschmanns: “I have been using the Kaizen Green 10ft 4lb rods since August 2023 and I love them! A test curve of 4lb on a 10ft rod sounds heavy, but I was looking for rods that could easily handle reeling in heavy lead weights over long distances. I also looked for rods that could handle a large catfish if I accidentally hooked one, and that could handle the pressure of large lumps of seaweed on the line when I had a large carp on the line.” “At first I only used the 10ft Greens when wiping out my rigs and playing fish from a boat, simply because a shorter rod is particularly useful from a boat. However, later in the season I started fishing for a target fish in a 'strike and pressure' situation – just underhand casting my rigs towards some sunken trees. Also in this situation the rods performed very well and they managed to land that one special carp safely.”

Following the success of our Kaizen Platinum rods, we have introduced the more affordable Kaizen Green rods. Although priced lower than our top of the range Kaizen Platinums, Green rods share many of the same design features and performance qualities, making high-quality fishing accessible to everyone. We understand that not every angler needs or can afford the Platinum Series, and for those anglers, the Kaizen Green is our solution. These rods offer almost the same performance at a fraction of the price.

The Kaizen Green range, made with a less expensive grade of carbon, differs slightly in power transfer and recovery speed during the cast, but maintains a similar action to the Platinum rods. This range includes eight fishing rods and two spod rods, all extensively tested under different conditions by Team Korda anglers. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, confirming the quality and performance of this range of rods.

A first for us, our 10ft rods are designed for specific fisheries, such as boat fishing, or any other situation where you don't need the length or casting distance of a 12ft rod. Our new range of rods also includes spod rods that can be used to cast long distances.
Aesthetically, the rods give the impression of being handmade, with a matte finish, black windings and a subtle logo, along with durable, sleek guides and a comfortably sturdy handle.

All models in the Kaizen Green range are equipped with high-quality Sea-Guide TDG guides, known for their strength, durability and lightweight.
In Europe the 10ft rods are also available in a version with Sea-Guide BXTLSG guides with a ceramic insert. This special variant is designed to provide even greater abrasion resistance and to allow the line to pass through the rod eyes more smoothly, especially for anglers who demand the highest level of performance and reliability when fishing with braided or thin diameter lines .
