A sensitive Torayca carbon blank with the backbone to set the hook and the power to tame big fish is the backbone of the W3 Dropshot 2nd Generation rods. The two piece SKS reelseat is extremely light and offers direct contact with the 1K woven carbon reinforced blank for maximum sensitivity. The blank is made with a super soft solid point that gives more feel and improved bite detection. The flat rear handle is designed to rest on the forearm while fishing for added comfort and stability. Details like the unique hook holder also make a big difference. When using a typical drop shot rig, you simply slide the line and tighten it to hold the drop shot sinker in place, eliminating tangles when switching between spots.
