The fastest, "easy-erect" shelter has become even better with the introduction of the phenomenal Tempest RS 150. The core of the carp fishing bivvy is formed by the famous patented hinge block, which ensures simple and quick assembly. Set-up time, usability and functionality are all further improved with the patented Rapid Knuckle System, which effortlessly locks all five main poles into position in one action. Simple and safe, setting up your shelter has never been easier.
Additional improvements to the Rapid Shelter include a built-in canopy to minimize water infiltration in and around the door. This canopy can be expanded even further for even more protection with the addition of a Skull Cap. The rear of the shelter has been made flatter than its predecessor, achieving an optimal balance between internal storage space and aerodynamics, making it easier to fit on the smallest of swims.
Airflow through the shelter has been improved with Adaptive Ventilation® on six vents (four in the back and two in the front), allowing air to flow better even when it's raining. To keep things cooler in the summer, the four rear vents can be opened to create shaded areas which, when combined with a Skull Cap, can reduce the interior temperature by several degrees.
For optimal storage space, there are four interior pockets, two on each side and two on the front. The front pockets have a hanging loop where you can store essentials like your receiver or even your jacket, so you can get away quickly when the weather is inclement.
