Shimano Ultegra CI4 14000 XTE and Performance Spool

The slip of the performance models is sealed with a sealing ring (photo 3). This seal prevents dirt, water and dust from getting between your skid plates.

 

We have replaced the slip plates in the Ultegra Performance XTE with Teflon, your slip will "stick" less quickly, which reduces the chance of a slip. Close is really close, especially useful when fishing locked up. Teflon does not absorb moisture and dirt and is self-lubricating

 

The Teflon discs have the advantage that they react a lot more directly. Your slip is now closed with 1 turn.

 

Our performance models can be recognized by the edge of the spool, where it is originally black anodized, you will see that with our aluminum version you have less friction so that you can throw further.

Rigid Cast reduces spool deflection at the point of release during the cast and Parallel Body sends the line at the perfect angle to the butt ring of the rod. As the line passes over the spool lip of the aluminum AR-C spool, it reduces friction.
