The mid-priced Yasei AX Pike Spinning has been specially developed for anglers who prefer to fish for big pike using spinning reels. Powerful enough to handle a wide range of lures and to tackle big pike efficiently without being overwhelmed, both models are surprisingly lightweight and cast extremely well, making constant casting less tiring. As soon as you wield one of the Yasei AX Pike Spinning models you will immediately feel the casting potential of the fast action blanks. With added power in the lower section of both models, these are really well tuned rods that will cover a lot of water whether you're fishing from the bank or from a boat. The lightest and most versatile rod in the range is the 2.20m H (Heavy) with a casting weight of 20-60g. This makes it a great rod for medium sized lures in combination with a 3000 sized reel. The slightly shorter length has the benefit of improved casting accuracy, especially when casting close to reed beds and other fish holding characteristics. The more powerful 2.50m EX (Extra Heavy) has a larger optimum casting weight of 40-120g. This covers almost all pike bait sizes designed for the biggest of fish and when combined with a 4000 or compact 5000 sized spinning reel, it produces a formidable casting combination that won't be overwhelmed by oversized crank and swimbaits. Both Yasei AX Pike Spinning models use a High Modulus Full Carbon blank built with Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This reduces blank twist when casting and playing fish, and the lighter of the two models delivers a remarkable amount of response, allowing you to work with crank and medium swimbaits with great accuracy. In the strongest, most powerful model, the premium blank construction reduces the overall weight of the rod, making it easier to use, while maintaining the power needed to handle the largest lures and fish. To further enhance the overall performance, the rods are fitted with the latest Fuji Alconite K-type guides which are lightweight yet immensely strong and suitable for both braided and mono main lines. In keeping with the high-end design, a Fuji IPS reel seat is fitted to the custom EVA split-grip handle, giving this range a modern, eye-catching look to match their brilliant fishing performance.
