The Curado rod series matches the look of the Curado Baitcasting reels and has been selected from our American line up, where this rod has proven itself as an excellent performer in match fishing with light and medium lures. The Curado is a modern rod range, specially selected from our American range. Brilliant for light and medium lures, this mid-range lure excels in casting accuracy and playing action, especially when paired with the matching Curado Baitcasting reel. The Curado is available in one and two-piece versions, in both spinning and baitcasting versions. The secret to the Curado's brilliant casting performance is the Full Carbon Hi-Power X blank. Previously only used on our highest spec rods, this exclusive Shimano carbon technology minimizes blank twist when casting. You will also notice that the action is more responsive when you are drilling, especially near obstacles or where extreme control is required. The Curado is equipped with a super light Shimano Ci4+ reel or reel seat, Fuji Fazlite guides and a split grip EVA handle. The combination of high quality components and the stylish finish make for a perfect rod that you will be proud to use. The Curado is not only suitable for fishing for perch, zander and pike, but can certainly also be used for fishing for asp or sea bass. Casting a lure tight along a reed collar, under an overhanging tree or tight under a bridge becomes second nature with the Curado.
