At the heart of the 'Monster Drive' is SHIMANO's most advanced brushless motor. It generates an enormous amount of torque and has an incredibly fast overtaking speed and has a turning force (engine power) of up to 38 kg and a top speed of 170 m per minute. Of course, this power must be used effectively to deliver maximum efficiency. The ultra-strong Hagane body guarantees flawless operation, even at the most extreme force and pressure ranges. The BeastMaster MD 12000 also has an amazing 43kg heat adjustable drawbar pull with a 50% reduction in residual heat through the use of the exclusive Thermo Adjust Drag technology allowing deep water species such as grouper, swordfish and large squid to be dominated like never before. The fine dot LCD display is easy to read even in bright sunlight and the E-Exciting Drag Sound function adjusts to the amount of drag to let you hear how hard you're pulling. For manual retraction, the Beastmaster MD 12000 features a single aluminum handle with an ergonomic power knob.
