The popper fastenings on the side of the poncho allow it to be opened in the style of a carp sail, allowing you to attach two eyelets and tie or hang the double metal eyelets at the front edge to form a lightweight armchair and windbreak to sit under shelter or sleep.

By tying the hood by hand and orientating the opened poncho correctly, the water can always drain without the risk of it coming through the hood. It also doubles as a makeshift wheelbarrow or equipment cover in wet conditions or even as a sunscreen. Simple but indispensable.
