Katsutaka Imae and Yuki Ito's goal was to land targets of 4 meters and higher with a shad just 57mm long. The mounting position of the instant shifting balancer system Micro LBO (PAT.) allows a super forward leaning position that is impossible with normal ball weights. Ito moved the balancer head to the intersection of the lip and body using an axle with super small diameter bearings that allowed for the extreme forward mounting design. In field testing with 6lb fluorocarbon line, this big-lipped little shad demonstrated extremely long flight distances and managed to generate an astonishing dive vector. The excellent fusion of aerodynamics and hydrodynamics have given the IxI SHAD the extreme performance needed to hit deep targets. It is the ultimate solution for compactness, realism and performance.
