Mainline Clones Barrel Pop-Ups Hemp 13mm

Mainline Clones are designed to give you a durable hookbait that you can fish over a bed of particles that will match both color and taste. The main purpose of the Clones, as the name suggests, is to 'clone' whatever particle or spod mix you cast and replicate it into a 'match the hatch' hookbait that is much more practical to use than the particle itself. Particularly as some particles are too small or too soft to actually use on your rigs, and especially if you want to make sure your bait is still on the hair and working as it should for extended periods of time, baits such as sweetcorn for example. The Clones are available in four different types/flavours, in 13mm pop-ups or 10mm x 14mm wafters. Although designed primarily for use over particles, they have also proved very successful in all fishing situations during testing.

Nutty Hemp:

• Hemp is one of the biggest fish attractors and carp love to eat this oily seed, so much so that when they are on your bait you can see oil slicks appearing on the surface! However, hemp also has a visual appeal, as this shiny dark brown/black seed stands out against the lake bottom due to the white spots that form as the seed splits and begins to sprout. To emulate this, not only in taste but also in appearance, the Clones Hemp pop-ups and wafters have a two-tone dark black and slightly off-white color.
