After the enormous success of the MADCAT® Clonk Teasers, it was time for a new version: the A-STATIC Silent Teaser. In heavily pressurized waters, the catfish will still be attracted to the clonk teaser, but when it approaches the lure, it can become suspicious due to the ticking beads. Then what it takes to provoke an attack is the turbulence of an escaping baitfish – without sound! The MADCAT® A-STATIC Silent Teasers are designed to produce as much turbulence as possible, caused by the wave-brimmed skirt and golf ball dimples, both on the body and on the skirt. Grooves on the bottom of the skirt, which allow the skirt to fold up easily when the teaser is lowered (but spreads out firmly when lifted). In other words, it will cause as little turbulence as possible when lowering, but as much as possible when lifting. The MADCAT® A-STATIC Silent Teasers are so advanced they will fool even the most tired catfish. A-STATIC, meaning rubber coated, to minimize the electric field that deters catfish. Note: the coating may wear off during use.
