LifeSaver Cube

A robust and portable water filter that can purify 5,000 liters of water. Ideal for smaller groups of people or families. The LifeSaver Cube with built-in filter has a capacity of 5 liters and is ideal for families and groups "on the move".

The Cube was originally developed for emergency aid in collaboration with aid organization Oxfam Novib.

The LifeSaver Cube is a microbiological water filter that uses ultrafiltration technology to filter viruses, bacteria, cysts and parasites from contaminated water sources. LifeSaver technology filters out bacteria to a minimum of Log 6 (99.9999%), viruses to a minimum of Log 4 (99.99%) and cysts to a minimum of Log 3 (99.9%) as specified by NSF Protocol 231, based on recommendations from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The LifeSaver Cube was designed with Oxfam as the perfect disaster response solution, providing safe water to communities that have lost their infrastructure. Cubes are also used in societies that have access to water through a well but want to purify this water.

• The LifeSaver Cube is designed to store and transport dirty water. We recommend storing dirty water, either in the cube or other storage containers, and filtering through the cube as and when clean water is needed, to prevent re-contamination of previously filtered water.
