€519.00

This rod has been designed with all types of float fishing in mind, requiring a longer rod for ultimate control. The construction of the rod is unique and modern, meaning it can be used for a wide range of fish species and sizes, from small river roach and dace to large chub and barbel! This all-round ability comes from the action of the rod. The main body of the rod has plenty of backbone, which is necessary for quickly picking up the line when fishing with the float, especially when trotting or running a float far down a river. It ensures a fast and firm connection with the fish. The actual tip of the rod is then quite soft, which is important for cushioning small fish so you can fish light lines and small hooks without losing them. The balance and modern possibilities of this rod only really come into their own when a large fish is hooked. The center sections still have a progressive action to absorb lunges and pressure when needed. Much of this is down to the fact that the joints on this rod are lap joints rather than trunnion joints, maintaining the balance between stiffness and a progressive action.

In terms of technical specifications, it is packed with the latest technology and resources. It features Zero-90 Carbon Technology, which provides a super sharp action and helps you cast incredibly accurately thanks to a reduction in twist and wobble when the rod is compressed. The guides on the rod are high quality single leg Fuji reversing guides with durable Alconite rings, which are lightweight and will not affect the action and performance of the rod. Another finishing touch is the extra lightweight cut-out Fuji reel seat, which fits comfortably in the hand and is perfect when holding a rod for extended periods of time, giving the angler an incredible feel through the rod.

The 15ft rod in particular is a perfect stick float instrument, with the extra length improving line control. The distance between the leaders and the rod's large number of rings ensure that the line releases smoothly from the reel without tangling or sticking to the blank, even in wet conditions. You may also notice that the guides change color all over the rod, and this is simply because the highest quality guides we wanted to use on the top of this rod only come in certain colors. We didn't want this cosmetic factor to compromise the quality of the rod. An A-quality cork handle, with a custom Guru EVA handle and an adjustable connection point completed this bad boy perfectly.
