The 12ft Distance Feeder from the Aventus range is designed to combine many assets: distance, accuracy, durability and playing action. Made to Tackle Guru specifications by Daiwa in the renowned UK facilities, using the highest quality Japanese carbon and the most up to date rod technology. Two piece, folds in half for use in a Fusion Rod Holdall, very useful for a 3.5 meter rod. Supplied with three quiver tips with guides that allow easy feeding of shock leader knots - 1oz, 1.5oz and 2oz. The rod has a casting weight of 70 grams and can reach distances of 50 meters. In both Aventus rods we wanted to produce tools that allow anglers to easily cast further, accurately and with ease. However, the rods still needed to have a play action so they could fish for all kinds of fish, from roach and skimmers in Ireland and natural fish, to big carp on big UK commercials at distance on Method and Hybrid Feeders.

Like the entire Aventus series, this rod has complete all-round capabilities. Fishing for carp at home on big commercials in the summer months, when big fish and big weights are at stake at a distance, while it is just as comfortable for catching skimmers and F1s in winter or silverfish in natural locations. A sharp, progressive action means the rod has plenty of power when needed, especially at the bottom for distance, while maintaining a fish-play action that prevents hook pulling when fishing lighter lines and finer tackle.

The rod features oversized top-spec Fuji Alconite K-Guides, bulletproof, super durable and designed to prevent frap-ups and tangles. All guides are strategically positioned to give the rod the perfect compression, casting and playing action. The guides and size of the guides are unique to the rod - each rod in the Aventus range has different sized guides placed at different points to help the rod perform 100 percent of its capabilities. An A-quality cork handle is extremely comfortable and hard-wearing, with the Armlock design for ultimate fishing control. Finished with a Fuji DPS real seat.

The end of the rod is finished with a contoured custom Guru EVA handle, with finger shapes to aid hand positioning on the cast, allowing maximum compression, distance and accuracy to be achieved with ease! An important feature is the length of the handles - longer than normal to increase the distance and accuracy of the case. More leverage and power can be obtained from the longer handle, allowing anglers to be more accurate and cast further.

A unique and important asset for the Aventus project is the Zero 90 carbon technology. This process involves double-layering carbon fibers in various ways from zero to 90 degrees. Once cured, this gives the rods combined strength, recovery and longitudinal crispness. The tubular shape of each rod deforms when compressed. Zero 90 technology allows us to control this deformation, preventing energy and accuracy loss and maintaining the cylindrical structure for greater throwing power and precision.
