Front Runner
Legend has it that Front Runner originated between a 1988 Land Cruiser 70 and a 1992 Mercedes G-wagon in Botswana, around a campfire, close to a majestic Baobab, among elephant tracks, by a handful of friends from South Africa with backgrounds in engineering, design, manufacturing and off-road racing. They noticed a lot of shortcomings in the equipment they brought along on their exploration. So they decided to pool their shared passion for adventure with 4x4 vehicles to design new, smart and sturdy equipment. Today, the products have a well-earned reputation for their quality, smart design and durability. The production facility just outside Johannesburg in South Africa has its own laser cutting, powder coating and bending machine. Their CAD products are designed by a team of engineers and built by skilled craftsmen in the ISO-9001 : 2015 certified factory. Their luggage racks, water tanks, tents, canopies, sliders and camping accessories are used by casual campers, the U.N., overlanders, NGOs, outdoor enthusiasts and extreme sportsmen all over the world.
