Floki's Baits kopen?
We were tipped off by Stephan Leicher a good customer of ours he said "men why don't you sell this? check out that tank I caught." With a nice video of a Dutch fish that almost hits 50 pounds. It immediately piqued my interest but was this just a coincidence, a lucky shot or was this potentially interesting bait for our shop? I then delved into it and came into contact with David the owner of Floki's baits and Stephan's story turned out not to be a unique story. Several Floki's customers had had a similar experience.
David's philosophy on bait is very much in line with my own view on bait. Instead of a large marketing budget, he prefers to put his money into the quality of his bait. His motto is "Habitat Inspired baits" or bait that occurs in the habitat of the carp. David makes no concessions to bait, he has devised a method of preserving natural products so that he can incorporate them into his mix. He doesn't mess around with only extracts, his krill boilie contains real krill, his GLM boilie has real mussel meat and you can guess what his squid and snail boilies contain. Precisely!
When he arrives at our store, he enthusiastically pulls off a few bags, here guys give this a try. (always a good entry by the way) I grab the boilies in my hand and immediately see a structure that I have not seen before. Some boilies are stuck together and that is not because they are not dried properly but because the "meat" connects the boilies. The Squid boilie contains 20% squid meat, squid meal, squid extract and real Haith's RobinRed and the GLM (Green Lipped Mussel) contains GLM Powder, mussel meat, GLM extract and no less than 10% Spirulina.
