Century CQ Carbon Compact Pod 2024

A new addition to the Century range is the Close Quarter Carbon Compact Pod. Designed primarily for anglers with shorter rods...i.e. 6', 9' & 10' in length which are becoming increasingly popular in today's carp fishing industry. Lightweight, quick and easy to set up, the CQ Pod is perfect for the mobile angler or the opportunistic angler who wants to put in a few hours here and there, perhaps on the way home from work along the local canal or pond. Featuring the signature Century Stealth look with subtle Century branding, the Pod is manufactured here in the UK using 16mm diameter high-spec carbon tubing and black anodised aluminum fittings. The Pod can be used with the long stand or the short stand at the front, depending on how you want to position your tips on the day. We have chosen not to include buzz bars with the CQ Pod as everyone has their own personal preference for sizes depending on how they like to fish and the rods and reels they use. By letting the angler choose their own sizes/configurations, everyone gets exactly what they want. Century produce various width fixed doubles and adjustable doubles that fit perfectly with this new CQ Pod design and even our narrow treble hooks can be used if required. Supplied in a padded protective carrying case which consists of a cover for the center bar and a separate main bag which contains the rest of the parts and can accommodate a set of buzz bars with alarms and butt rests, a pair of extra legs if you wish and a pouch for turn signals. Total weight of Pod (without buzz bars) is 760g. New with this Compact Pod; You will receive a 2-piece Mainbar that fits in the bag.
