Silently, like an arrow through the air, the Darter U-Float stands almost unobtrusively in the flow, providing small flow channels for the bait. Stefan Seuß has developed the Darter U-Float especially for fishing in heavily fished waters and for fishing conditions in which the catfish react very shyly and ignore floating bodies that are too coarse, causing too many eddies. The Darter U-Float is constructed like the end of an arrow, a thin pen with four convex (outwardly curved) wings, in a strong current breaks the water pressure and allows it to flow through the float body of the U-Float without noticeable eddies. The wings act like a keel on a tow rope, causing the whole to move seductively from left to right.
