The Curly Worm with a length of seventeen centimeters is a shad specially developed by Stefan Seuß with excellent swimming properties. The convex fish-skeletal body shape, consisting of several soft successive rubber lamellae, imitates the swimming behavior of a prey fish for the full one hundred percent. A high frequency twister tail forms the end of the lure. Both for casting with the lure rod and for vertical fishing just above the bottom of the water. Even when the Curly Worm is fished back slowly when casting, and also during a pause in movement when vertical fishing, the slats provide a continuous swimming movement through the flowing water that sets the entire shad in motion. For optimal positioning of the hook, there is a recess in the back of the Curly Worm, where the jig hook or, ideally, the BC Claw Single Hook can be perfectly mounted.
