The Bassterra Sea Bass has been specially developed for sea bass fishing. The moderate-fast action is powerful, responsive and generates excellent casting performance while being versatile enough to effectively fish both soft and hard baits. These great value rods are built on high quality blanks with the signature Diaflash finish and make these specialist rods accessible to anglers with a tighter budget. They also make excellent lure rods for targeting all kinds of predators. The Bassterra Sea Bass is constructed from a Full Carbon blank and features SHIMANO's exclusive Diaflash technology, which increases power and responsiveness. This improves casting power and provides extra control to block hard runs and keep fish away from rocks and other obstacles. In the tip area this provides more response, making lure control more effective and fishing more enjoyable. The Bassterra is available in 4 models for medium, medium heavy and heavy power, to cast with weights between 6 and 60 grams. Each rod is finished with Stainless Steel Seaguide XOG guides, a specially designed VSS reel seat and a split grip EVA handle.
